Cole-Parmer Port Disk Hose Barb Fitting, Natural Kynar Flex, Opposing Barb, Cleanroom Packed, 3/8" ID; 10/Pk
Use these high-quality PVC-free port disks with hose barbs to transfer fluids, buffers, media, and drug compounds from single-use bags used in pharmaceutical and medical industries. Ultrasonic, radio frequency, or thermal weld port disks to Kynar medical and bioreactor bags to easily transfer fluids. Port disks with opposing barbs allow a port on each side of the bag to easily split the flow.
Natural Kynar Flex exhibits excellent chemical resistance, UV resistance, and high purity. Kynar Flex offers slightly more flexibility compared to regular Kynar, minimizing the risk of it cracking with sideload.
Disks are manufactured, double bagged, and sealed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom to ensure that the integrity is not compromised. An ISO Class 7 cleanroom utilizes HEPA filtration systems to maintain air cleanliness levels of less than 10,000 particles of 0.5 µm or larger per cubic foot.

Easily combine or split fluid flow with reduction Y fittings. Each Y fitting features one large hose barb and two small hose barbs. A single barb on each end of the fitting creates a tight seal to keep the tubing in place. An anti-rotation device on each port prevents tubing from rotating, minimizing kinks. These natural Kynar fittings provide excellent chemical, flame, gamma radiation, UV, and weather resistance.
